Description

Responsibilities:


  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wheelchairs and student equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in collaboration with a Physical Therapist
  • Replace faulty parts and components as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and service as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in equipment repair or a related field is preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
  • Proficiency in using hand tools for repairs and adjustments
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail

Job Type:
Part-Time (3.5 hours)

Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 12pm. (Extended School Calendar)


As a Wheelchair Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of wheelchairs and other student equipment, ultimately improving the quality of life for individuals who rely on these devices.
