Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wheelchairs and student equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in collaboration with a Physical Therapist
- Replace faulty parts and components as needed
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and service as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in equipment repair or a related field is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in using hand tools for repairs and adjustments
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Job Type:
Part-Time (3.5 hours)
Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 12pm. (Extended School Calendar)
As a Wheelchair Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of wheelchairs and other student equipment, ultimately improving the quality of life for individuals who rely on these devices.
