Wesleyan College invites applications for a full time, visiting position in mathematics or applied mathematics, with teaching duties starting August, 2024.

Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated excellence in, and enthusiasm for, teaching mathematics to diverse populations of students.

Qualifications include a Ph.

D or MS in mathematics or applied mathematics, or masters in math education, excellent communication skills, and a history of strong commitment to undergraduate instruction.

Candidates who have experience working with undergraduates using innovative course delivery methods, leveraging real-world applications of mathematics, are highly desired.

The successful candidate will have experience offering courses in courses in the general education program (College Algebra, Quantitative Reasoning, and Statistics), as well as courses which support majors in Applied Mathematical Science.
