    Job Title: Occupational Therapist

    Location: Norwalk, CT

    Position Type: Full-time

    Hours: 37.5 hours per week

    Description:

    We are currently seeking qualified Occupational Therapists. This position involves working with students in the elementary level across the district, with a focus on a specialized program catering to students with medical needs and intellectual disabilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success
    • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and progress
    • Develop and implement therapeutic activities to enhance students' functional abilities
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress

    Qualifications:

    • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
    • Experience working with students with medical needs and intellectual disabilities is preferred
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
    • Commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic services to students
