Primary responsibilities will include:
- providing psychoeducation to youth and families regarding emotion regulation and mood lability
- delivering evidenced-based treatments, i.e., TF-CBT and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills training
- offering group therapy for youths and parents/guardians focused on bolstering emotion regulation skills
- coordinating care, including attending PPTs and school meetings
Connecticut licensed or license-eligible therapists with the following skills or experience are encouraged to apply:
- Background and knowledge in understanding dysregulation in a developmental context
- Experience providing clinical care to youths and their families
- Experience providing evidencebased treatments
- Comfort and flexibility working with higher intensity cases on an outpatient basis
- Coursework in child development
- Bilingual clinicians able to provide treatment and evaluation in Spanish
- Experience providing culturally and racially responsive care
