Description

Primary responsibilities will include:
- providing psychoeducation to youth and families regarding emotion regulation and mood lability
- delivering evidenced-based treatments, i.e., TF-CBT and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills training
- offering group therapy for youths and parents/guardians focused on bolstering emotion regulation skills
- coordinating care, including attending PPTs and school meetings

Connecticut licensed or license-eligible therapists with the following skills or experience are encouraged to apply:

  • Background and knowledge in understanding dysregulation in a developmental context
  • Experience providing clinical care to youths and their families
  • Experience providing evidencebased treatments
  • Comfort and flexibility working with higher intensity cases on an outpatient basis
  • Coursework in child development
  • Bilingual clinicians able to provide treatment and evaluation in Spanish
  • Experience providing culturally and racially responsive care
