Description

At the earliest possible date, we are looking for a (Senior) Data Scientist Natural Language Processing (m/w/d) to support the development of text models in a highly secure on-premise cloud storage solution, at our location in Berlin.

Your responsibilities:

Conceptualization, application, and further development of Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications and tools, including LLM, chatbots, text classification, information extraction, and recommender systems.

Continued development of NLP components into comprehensive data-driven IT products and ensuring sustainable productive use.
Consulting and supporting stakeholders (product owners, developers, clients) on technical and functional challenges in NLP projects.
Integration and creation of task packages for handover to development units.

Your profile:
Successful completion of studies in computational linguistics, (business) informatics, mathematics, statistics, or a comparable field.
Excellent methodological knowledge in Machine Learning / Deep Learning for NLP (e.g. Recurrent Neural Networks, LSTMs, Attention, Transformer, language modeling) and practical experience with corresponding frameworks (e.g. Tensorflow, pyTorch).
Demonstrable professional experience in conceptualizing and developing NLP projects and strong knowledge of linguistic structures and NLP algorithms.
Hands-on experience in processing text data (normalization, tokenization, POS-tagging, parsing) and several years of professional programming experience in Python with
