- Handle various aspects of personal injury and/or workers compensation litigation; prepare legal briefs and other pleadings; motion hearings; mediations and depositions.
- Manage the day-to-day running of a case, including client interface.
- Conduct thorough, top-notch research; determine effective litigation strategies.
- Engage in negotiations with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and relevant parties to secure favorable settlements for clients.
- Prepare trial material and handle pretrial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
- Education: Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school, plus admission to state bar
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in in personal injury and/or workers compensation
- Real Estate experience a plus
- Excellent research, writing and oral advocacy skills, plus outstanding client care skills.
- Ability to keep client and Firm matters confidential.
- Must be organized, analytical and logical.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
