Position Summary:
We are seeking a strong CAD Designer with solid experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Revit Software.
This position offers a fantastic chance for a drafting expert to gain valuable experience at a specialized engineering design firm.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings that meet the specifications of our clients.
- Partner with the engineering team to ensure the accuracy of the drawings.
- Assist with project development using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools.
- Use expertise in design and analysis to ensure that the drawings are thorough and complete.
- Communicate and exchange concepts and ideas with the technical and project management teams.
- Build relationships with clients to review project details and requirements, where necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineering and technical professionals.
- Provide regular project updates to the engineering and project management team.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Must have expert knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience using MicroStation and Autodesk Revit Software is a plus.
- Familiarity with creating Dynamic Families using Revit is a plus.
- Experience managing a team of drafters on multiple projects.
- Electrical design experience is a major plus.
- Possess no less than 3 years of related drafting experience.
- Experience using AGi32 is a plus.
- Possess a positive and proactive approach to addressing challenges and working with team members.
- Ability to build strong professional crossfunctional relationships.
- Honest, trustworthy, and dependable.
