JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Assembly Supervisor to join our team. As an Assembly Supervisor, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating various components and products.

This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to use power tools, hand tools, and operate a forklift.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct supervision of employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain a close liaison with the Plant Manager, Scheduling, Production, Quality, and Machine shop supervisors and other departments in avoiding and resolving problems.
Appraising employee performance, addressing complaints, and resolving issues.
Develop and provide input on assembly requirements needed to fulfill customer orders.
Ensure customer shipment dates and specifications are met by coordinating flow of product through department according to production order requirements.
Make recommendations to improve production methods, performance, and quality of product.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer order deadlines are met.
Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform other related duties as may be required.
Maintain proper and accurate inventory levels (component & buyout) and supply needs.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Dispatching
Mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly processes
Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to perform heavy physical work, exerting 30 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 5 pounds constantly, performing such activities as stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, squatting, bending, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
Manufacturing Background (prefer)

Pay:
$ $26.00 per hour
