Your typical day as Commercial Construction Superintendent
- Schedule, coordinate, and manage daily construction activities for the Robert High Development commercial projects.
- Ensure projects are built to requirements and specifications per construction drawings, building codes.
- Monitor production schedules, critical paths for projects, and trade contractor schedules to ensure timely project completion.
- Monitor project quality and cost control to safeguard profit margin.
- Utilized Construction Software to maintain files, prepare daily reports, process invoices and expense reports.
- Access and update municipality portals and schedule inspections as appropriate.
- Communicate with Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and the clients to ensure construction meets their expectations.
- Consult with architect, engineer, and clients on plan revisions and change orders.
- Order materials and supplies while coordinating deliveries with staging.
- Strive for nodefect construction.
- Conduct preclosing walkthroughs with customers.
- Overnight travel with expenses paid.
