    You will have a direct impact on highly visible Homes web applications that touch millions of users. This position is located in Washington, DC and offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

    Responsibilities Leading cross functional product developments team to deliver innovative products to our customers, while also acting as a player/coach.

    Architecting, building, testing, and deploying scalable, reusable, and maintainable applications that handle large amounts of data. Taking full ownership of your work, from development and testing to eventual deployment and support in production. Collaborating with other engineering teams, product owners, designers, and leadership. Becoming a trusted team member in matters of technical architecture, design, and code. Advocating for evolution and improvement - both technical and non-technical - within our teams. Includes new tech, tools, and best practices. Gaining a deep understanding of the CoStar business. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.

    A track record of commitment to prior employers Minimum 8+ years of professional software development experience building large distributed, API-driven systems and leading agile teams.

    5+ years served in a leadership role with multiple years managing multiple scrum teams Significant full-stack experience, with deep expertise in back-end technologies (C#, .NET Framework, Web API, Node, Data storage, SQL, etc.)


    Strong written and verbal communication skills; Must be able to communicate at a level appropriate to the audience (direct reports, peers, and senior management) Excellent team building, negotiation and consensus building abilities.

    Ability to motivate and build high performance software development teams. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Real world experience designing and implementing complex application architectures on Amazon Web Services. Experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, Mocha, and Chai. Expertise with Analytics presentation tools like D3 and/or Google Maps API. Experience with Docker and container orchestration. Commercial Real Estate (CRE) or Residential Real Estate knowledge is a bonus.
