Wholesome Generation's early childhood program fosters students' passion for learning by providing an authentic learning environment that invites interaction, cooperation, and multiple approaches to intellectual exploration.

General Responsibilities:

  • Develop Reggioinspired and nature focused curricula with children and adult colleagues

  • Communicate an image of the child as curious, competent, and capable of building knowledge
  • Communicate an image of the teacher as a careful listener, a coresearcher, and a responsible guide
  • Create a classroom space that is accessible, provocative, responsive, and beautiful
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively and happily with colleagues and with parents
  • Model flexibility where needed, with a need to be proactive to create solutions in a team environment
  • Demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth and the willingness to solve any conflicts that arise
  • Demonstrate interest and ability to contribute beyond the classroom (to the school, the community, and in the field of education)
  • Lead by example in your commitment to Wholesome Generation's mission and ability and willingness to attend team meetings, communicate effectively with our Administration and Director, and parent community.
Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by our Executive Director, or Educational Director.
