Job Description

The Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing and excellent patient management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry data
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge instructions

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Must have a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• References from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty are required for submission
