Day and Night rotating shift: 7pm-7:30am / 7am-7:30pm

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care for patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit. The RN will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, implementing care plans, and performing assessments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate regularly with patients and their families regarding care progress and needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele before applying.
• At least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience; travel experience will suffice.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required.
• One supervisory reference required for submission.
