Description

The Student Financial Services Processor's primary objective to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial aid in a way that meets federal guidelines to serve the financial office so students and families have an outstanding experience.


Essential Functions

  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position._
  • Complete R2T4 calculations for those students who withdraw within the federally mandated timeline.
  • Run SAP process each semester and send out communications to students.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of need analysis and student financial aid eligibility.
  • Processes federal documents for C code resolutions.
  • Utilize software and other technology necessary to perform responsibilities.
  • Process counselor review reports.
  • Process the Authorization Failure report.
  • Supports all daytoday operations of the Student Enrollment Services
  • Attends ongoing training to maintain relevant knowledge of all federal regulatory requirements affection constituents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in the administration of financial aid, preferably in a private college setting (other relevant experience will be considered).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software and enterprise systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to a studentcentered, collaborative philosophy.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • PeopleSoft Campus Solutions experience

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This is a full-time position: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Travel is expected in order to attend trainings once or twice a year.
