- Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and calibration necessary to result in facilities and production equipment that is in good working condition, according to corporate policies, and in compliance with GMP and quality policy. Develop and implement operating, inspection, and preventative maintenance procedures for equipment to assure compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, ISO, or other established guidelines.
- Schedule and perform necessary preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair of production equipment and mechanical, refrigeration, and electrical systems to meet specifications where established.
- Assist and perform routine sanitization of the Purified Water Systems and associated components to ensure maximum quality, compliance with USP standards, and minimal user disruption.
- Maintain records of preventative maintenance.
- Coordinate servicing of equipment with outside vendors where necessary.
- 5-10 years of facilities maintenance experience in a GMP environment (preferably in medical devices)
- 5+ years of BAS (building automation system) experience (expert level)
- Experience with refrigeration (EPA Universal certificate preferred), purified water systems (reverse osmosis), air handlers, boilers, and chillers.
- Must have a minimum of a special boiler\'s license or be willing to obtain one within 6 months.
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Must be willing to be on an on-call rotation (every 4th week)
