Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at our plant.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts and reach trucks, to move materials and products throughout the facility.

This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and adherence to safety guidelines.

Duties:

Operate forklifts and reach trucks to move materials and products within the distribution center
Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other equipment
Perform order picking and packing duties as needed
Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs
Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work environment
Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and product locations
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as required
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

Proven experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting
Familiarity with order picking, materials handling, and shipping/receiving processes
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and safety procedures
Experience with equipment repair and maintenance is a plus
