As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing patient care and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
Prepare and package medications for distribution
Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
Enter prescription information into the computer system
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred
Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) is a plus
Previous experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
Proficient in medication administration, including inhalation and IV infusion techniques
Familiarity with aseptic technique and sterile compounding procedures
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour
