Frequency:

Average 10/hrs per week:
- part-time **We currently have a need for an experienced mechanical source inspector to support in Cameron, TX for an on-going contract on-demand ( avergae 10 hours per week). Long distance travel may be required.

  • Perform mechanical inspection using precision measuring devices/instruments at supplier's facility to verify compliance to drawings, standards/specifications and other PO requirement.
  • Verify material certifications against PO requirements, part marking where required and visually inspect for obvious defects/ damage.

Skills Requirement:


  • Minimum 5 years of handson precision mechanical inspection experience is required
  • Strong understanding of, and experience with, ANSI Y 14.5 GD&T
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and basic computer skills are a must
  • Experience working with tight tolerances
  • Handson mechanical inspection experience
  • Must have experience working with Milstandards
  • Previous source inspection experience
