Your tasks

For our location in Nuremberg, we are looking for a working student (m/f/diverse) for at least 6 months and 20 hours per week starting in October 2024.

In today's automotive world, infotainment systems are central parts of the user experience. These systems are based on highly complex and powerful SoCs. The manufacturers of these SoCs regularly release new generations. One of these new SoCs needs to be evaluated. You will be part of an agile development team and work on new features within the complex hardware and software system of an infotainment ECU.

Your tasks include:
  • Evaluation of a new infotainment SoC
  • Porting individual functionalities to the new SoC
  • Development of new functionalities on the new SoC
  • Development and execution of system/SW and integration tests
  • Support in documenting new and existing features
  • Participation in the creation of marketing materials

Your profile
  • Student in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
  • Experience with Linux
  • Proficient in an object-oriented programming language, such as C++, and Android
