SUMMARY
Perform generally routine duties handling and preparing merchandise donated for resale. Work under the direct supervision of the Store Manager.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Will typically be required to work regular weekend (i.e. Saturday, Sunday), holiday and evening hours customary to the retail trade.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Hang merchandise on racks meeting established production standards (typically garments hung per hour).

Secure color fastener to garments in accordance with color rotation schedule.

Size clothing by affixing color tags, as required.

Stock clothing racks, tables, and shelves with donated merchandise.

Remove unsold merchandise from clothing racks, tables and shelves in accordance with store rotation schedule.

Clean shelves, counters, tables and other areas.


OTHER DUTIES
Assist at designated retail outlets, as assigned, performing similar routine duties.

Perform other related essential duties as required or assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
No minimum requirements for education or experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to speak effectively with customers, clients and other employees of the organization.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)


Protective eyewear must be worn at all times while preparing cleaning solution for floor cleaning machine and while dispensing fluid into the machine.

Protective gloves (cloth/leather) must be worn at all times while using pushstick to propel material into trash compactor. Latex gloves are made available for any employee engaged in sorting credentials but are not required.
