Research Assistant (d/m/w) - Salary Group 13 TV-L Berlin Universities:
Part-time employment is possible if desired.


Job Description:

Research in the field of communication networks in the DFG project DyMoNet. Development of concepts and algorithms for mobile base stations to optimize coverage, throughput, and resilience. Performance evaluation (analytical, simulation, experimental). Possibility for doctoral studies.


Expected Qualifications:


  • Successfully completed university degree (Master's, Diploma or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Outstanding achievements (e.g. publications) or very good degree
  • Indepth knowledge of communication networks
  • Excellent programming skills (Python, C++, Matlab)
  • Very good knowledge of Linux
  • Strong mathematical background
  • Good German and/or English skills required; willingness to acquire the missing language skills
  • Enthusiasm for cuttingedge research, creativity, perseverance, and teamwork
