As a Finance Manager, you will be leading a delivery line within the TSS team to drive superior financial performance.

You will lead a team of two financial analysts.

The selected individual will have a flexible/hybrid work arrangement and be expected to work in GDIT's Falls Church, Virginia office at least 2 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees all financial planning and reporting activities, including the annual planning cycles and building accurate forecasts.

Continuously seeks out opportunities for customer experience improvements and cost reduction, and partnering with operations leadership to implement the opportunities.

Manages and develops financial models for planning, forecasting, and reporting costs and efficiency.
Performs root cause analysis and uncovers core issues using data; assisting the Operations on improving and creating new measures.
Responsible for budget planning and supporting the TSS leadership team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the companyCollaborate across organizations/functions including sales, operations, line of business and project managementManage billing of rated services, ensuring accuracy and review of proper backup informationProvide financial leadership to the business, helping drive profitable growthEnsures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulationsMaintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and proceduresPeople development, cross-training and career coachingRequired Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or related field of Business5+ years of experience in finance or accounting2+ years experience working in government contracting industryAdvanced Excel skills to include pivot tables and V/X LookupsAbility to present monthly financials to executive staff across organizationExperience working cross functional teamsAbility to multi-task across multiple programsFamiliar with Oracle ProjectsAptitude for leading and training a small team of junior financial analysts

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
