This position is responsible for managing supply and demand for production purposes and ensuring a healthy inventory turnover.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure material availability to meet daily production demands and achieve set goals and targets.
  • Analyze daily material status and report shortages during regular customer meetings.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to plan and fulfill orders efficiently.
  • Address material shortages through both internal and external escalation processes.
  • Verify and upload unplanned component demands when necessary.
  • Handle material requirement changes and dispositions related to engineering change notifications (ECN) and end-of-life product scenarios.
  • Conduct monthly activities to determine reorder points (ROP).
  • Perform internal excess and obsolete (E&O) analysis on a weekly basis, including identifying root causes and developing action plans.
  • Review external E&O on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage price purchase variances (PPV) and follow the established single user kanban (SUK) process.
  • Complete any other assigned duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of SAP/Oracle systems preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain is a must, while a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Preferred 0-2 years of Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing is a bonus.
