Home For Life Advantage is a growing business that has been around for over 20 years and started in Sugar Grove, IL.

We have now expanded to Madison, Wisconsin and are absolutely excited to continue to grow our success and help our new community here We are customer-centric, rewarding, engaging and our goal is to create a safe home for everyone that is in need of home modification services.

Our company specializes in home modifications and implementing mobility solutions into clients home. We install and maintain stairlifts, home elevators, lifts, grab bars, as well as provide accessible bathrooms and general carpentry. We provide professional training and certification for to install these home modification projects. We take pride in delivering high-quality results and providing a great work environment for our employees.

Summary:

We are a dynamic and growing company, Home For Life Advantage, seeking a skilled and motivated Full or Part Time Framer/Carpenter to be a part of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Execute framing, woodwork, cabinetry, or home modifications installations with precision and attention to detail.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient project completion.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization on the job site.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to meet project requirements.
• Safely operate carpentry tools and equipment.
• Interpret and implement project specifications and blueprints accurately.
• Exhibit a strong work ethic and dedication to delivering exceptional results.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Patience and Communications skills with clients that may have a disability or part of the elderly community.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and tested for illegal drugs.
• Physical ability to perform carpentry tasks with or without assistance.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Strong organizational skills and a positive work attitude.
• Ability to work seamlessly in a teamoriented environment.
• Previous carpentry experience and construction knowledge are a plus.
• No smoking on the job site.
