We're on a mission to assist our client, a trailblazer in heavy trucking sustainability, in seeking a proactive Supply Chain Manager to spearhead their groundbreaking initiatives.

As the Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating the seamless flow of resources that powers our client's operations.
From sourcing and negotiations to logistics and inventory management, you'll be at the helm, steering our supply chain towards efficiency and excellence.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and mentor our client's procurement team to ensure operational excellence.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for all commodities, driving cost optimization and risk mitigation.
- Forge strong partnerships with Tier II and III suppliers through effective negotiation and collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with Production and Sales to optimize inventory levels and ensure impeccable On-Time Delivery to customers.
- Utilize ERP systems to maintain accurate master data reflecting the dynamic supply chain landscape.
- Champion supplier development initiatives, setting and tracking quarterly improvement plans.
- Implement robust inventory control processes to enhance material flow, layout, costeffectiveness, and accuracy.
- Oversee logistics operations, driving continuous improvement in service and cost efficiency.
- Conduct regular supplier visits/audits to ensure compliance to all company requirements.
- Generate forwardlooking material consumption reports and take direct action to prevent shortages.
- Assist Engineering with tooling requests/specifications/negotiations from suppliers and service providers.
- Ensure clear and frequent communication is delivered to suppliers regarding forecasts and business conditions and turns supplier feedback into direct actions as needed.
- Collaborate with Finance to identify excess/obsolete inventory and lead actions for disposition of this inventory.
- Coordinate efforts to ensure inventory accuracy. Leads collective actions to improve supplier counts and labeling accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Purchasing/Procurement, or Supply Chain.
- Prior experience in discrete manufacturing is a must.
- 5+ years of experience in commodity sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiations. Automotive and/or heavy trucking/equipment industry preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in metal fabrication and/or injecting molding
- Thorough understanding of MRP system functionality and inventory planning/control.
- Solid background in Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience with supplier development/management.
- Working knowledge of business financials.
- Excellent communicator high level of emotional intelligence required.
- Demonstrate judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external Customers.
- Selfmotivated, enthusiastic style of leadership.
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
- Knowledge/experience with ISO9001/TS16949 quality certifications.
- Very strong problemsolving capabilities. Ability to independently resolve issues.
- Ability to create and present data for management review and decisionmaking.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple/conflicting priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to independently resolve issues.
- Ability to see 'big picture' and break down into tactical goals.
