Description

A DPS Officer's position at Pechanga Resort Casino (PRC) entails ensuring top-notch public safety by providing excellent guest service and safeguarding PRC's interests and assets. Responsibilities include enforcing standards, policies, and procedures, maintaining a secure environment, and assisting other departments as needed.

FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT

  • Displaying a commitment to four-diamond service to all guests through adhering to Quality Standards set by PRC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring a safe environment for Tribal Citizens, Team Members, and guests.
  • Enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Providing exceptional guest service and exceeding expectations.
  • Enforcing gaming regulations.
  • Maintaining positive communications.
  • Detecting and responding to safety concerns.
  • Responding to illegal activities.
  • Offering assistance as needed.
  • Responding to calls for service and deploying resources.
  • Conducting bag checks.
  • Maintaining lost and found records.
  • Assisting in Gaming areas.
  • Participating in training sessions.
  • Performing other assigned duties.

ACCOUNTABILITY

This role does not involve supervisory responsibilities but holds the responsibility of protecting PRC's assets.

QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: A High School diploma or equivalent with some prior Public Safety experience or related training is preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read, interpret documents, write reports, and speak effectively before groups.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Capable of basic mathematical operations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Qualifications required include a Class 'A' gaming license, CA Guard Card, Title 31, Responsible Gaming, Responsible Beverage.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Basic reading, writing, and typing skills, clear verbal communication, strong guest relations, flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, ability to work in a stressful environment, and maintain high levels of guest service and public safety.
