IT APPRENTICE to join our team.

Applicants must be in a Youth Apprenticeship Program in their High School to be eligible for this position during the school year.

Summary:


The IT Apprentice will experience and contribute to all areas of OCB's Technology Solutions Department by working with Help Desk, Infrastructure, Applications, Database, and Management personnel.

The intention is to provide the IT Apprentice with opportunities to experience and contribute to the full breadth of Technology functions in a professional environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities of IT APPRENTICE include the following:

  • Learning and working with Technology personnel including Helpdesk, Applications Support, Software Engineer, Infrastructure team, Database specialist, and the Technology Director.
  • Help desk shifts.
  • Project work as available and appropriate.
  • The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessitated by business demands.

  • Participation in high school Youth Apprenticeship program.
  • Interest in exploring technology as a career path.
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills.
