Technical Writer supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) at
Ft Meade, MD.

_ What you will be doing:_

  • Collect diverse language information and training data on enterprise systems and consolidate into one corporate website while maintaining key aspects of training data.
  • Standardize data so language analysts find it easily searchable.
  • Develop, manage, and deliver training, outreach, documentation and related materials for the consolidated database and related purposes.
  • Obtain data from across the customer enterprise regarding language training data.
  • Analyze and process data, including cleaning and formatting data into legible, standardized formats which can be easily queried against by analysts while following customer standards for data.
  • Ability to deliver cleaned and organized data into customer systems.
  • Provide support for outreach, training, documentation, and related materials.
  • Deliver training materials as requested by the customer.
  • Asist the NEC SE&I Division with outreach, technical writing, and related activities.
  • Provide the customer with asrequested status updates and deliverables.
  • Maintains the status of writing training documentation and sets timely dates for completion.
  • Applies consistent formatting and style throughout technical documentation.
  • Migrate, edit, and incorporate video, audio, and graphics into technical documentation.

_What you will need:
_


  • Security Clearance Required: Top Secret w/ SCI Eligibility
  • One of the following education/experience combinations:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Journalism, or similar educational equivalent with 5+ years' relevant experience analyzing interagency products to create requirements, developing CONOPS, Integrated Priority Lists, staffing decision documentation, and adjudicating content, OR
  • 11+ years' relevant experience (in lieu of degree) analyzing interagency products to create requirements, developing CONOPS, Integrated Priority Lists, staffing decision documentation, and adjudicating content
  • Ability to work well within a team and to execute tasks independently
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • NC3 experience (desired)

  • Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with a HSA and HRA and a traditional POS plan with copays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military and jury duty paid leaves. Regular part time employees scheduled for twentyfour or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a prorated basis.
  • This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
  • The base pay for this position ranges from
    $70,000 to $116,000 across the U.S. There is a different range applicable for specific work locations. Base pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training and education.
