Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maitre d' to join our team.

As a Maitre d', you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences by overseeing the dining room operations and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, escorting them to their tables
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover
  • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
  • Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring tables are properly set
  • Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow
  • Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the dining area Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and guest service principles
  • Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and staff members
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
