CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR - BOSTON, MA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The
Construction Inspector will be serving as an owner/agency representative on their capital construction program.
The
Construction Inspector will be responsible for:
providing construction inspection for the owner/agency; ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with construction contract plans and specifications; ensuring that the contractor is in compliance with the approved quality control plan; supporting the projects safety plan; coordinating the requirements of the owner/agency, reviewing the contractor's schedule updates; reviewing the contractor's requests for payment; reviewing quantities installed; reviewing material certifications and inventory on site (or at fabrication plant); supporting the processing of contractor submittals; attending various project meetings; reviewing reports for cost, schedule, budget, inspection, submittal status, change order status, and other reports; developing various project related reports; utilizing the owner/agency's project status software; supporting the progression of change orders; helping to resolve construction problems/conflicts; reporting to a resident engineer; and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certifications in welding, concrete, and/or other quality control tasks, is greatly preferred (Keville may fund additional training and certifications as required by the client).
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Hybrid work environment with some work performed on site in the Boston area (for on-site meetings and in the project field office), and some work will be performed remotely.
