Description
We are looking to hire someone as our new Shipper/Weighmaster.No experience needed, we will train on the job. A knowledge of steel is helpful. Simple math skills are helpful. Fluent in both English and Spanish is required.
Job duties are to move steel around by hand, by forklift, and by overhead crane. Weigh material on a platform scale. Record the weights on orders and sheets. Organize yard paperwork. Work with office on order scheduling. Interact with customers and load trucks. Assist in production as time and needs allow.
Hours are Monday thru Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, plus OT (which is usually in the early morning, and occurs often).
Health insurance paid 75% by company. Either Kaiser in US or SIMNSA in Mexico.
Quarterly safety bonus.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
Must be legally able to work in the US.
