The District Sales Manager will build a sales territory through new account generation and increasing existing accounts.We are looking for a "hunter," someone with a passion for outside sales and a desire to build a sales territory through cold-calling and canvassing.
This is a remote position with a home office. You will be in the field four days a week with occasional overnight travel.Once fully trained, you will be part of our team of safety professionals who specialize in identifying potential hazards, assessing risks, and implementing measures to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment.
You will be in the field interfacing with customers and training end-users about 4 days a week.Assist customers in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards and conducting risk assessments.
Assist companies in developing safety policies and procedures.
Facilitate training on best practices for maintaining a safe workplace.
Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements in safety protocols.
Implementing sales programs with existing accounts.
As a new Magid outside sales employee, you will participate in a comprehensive training program. In addition to becoming familiar with our catalog, your training will mold you into a true safety expert.
Eventually, the customers in your territory will begin to recognize you as a strategic business partner to help minimize the risk of accidents, protect employees, and ensure regulatory compliance.
At least 2-5 years of successful selling and building client relationships experience, ideally in the industrial or manufacturing verticals.
Work Arrangement:
This position is remote, home office, and company vehicle. You will be in the field, interfacing with customers four days a week. Most days are windshield travel, but you will also travel overnight as needed.
