Job Summary:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- for creating job postings, screening, interviewing, reference checking and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions for all locations. Collaborates with managers to understand skills, competencies and minimum requirements for openings.
- employee records in Workday, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
- Workday to properly add disposition codes to all applicants.
- Affirmative Action compliance in all recruiting, promotions, terminations.
- HRBP with performance management issues.
- Support annual/ongoing projects such as performance review and salary planning processes, and talent management initiatives
- compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- duties as assigned to support the overall HR operations team and strategic objectives.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- verbal and written communication skills.

- to type at least 40 words per minute.
- with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Minimum qualifications:
- least a 2 year degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
- experience in recruitment, employee engagement or other HR field
- requires being on-site at our Pasadena and/or LaPorte locations at least four days a week if not traveling to other locations on business.
- periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- have reliable transportation.
- be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- overnight travel
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 years' experience as an HR professional preferred.
