    ECHO is hiring a Sourcing Manager

    to develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives.

    The Sourcing Manager will be creating cost estimates and forecasts, negotiating cost-effective contracts with key suppliers, and overseeing our sourcing team.

    This is a hybrid position that will offer the flexibility of working from home and on-site at our Lake Zurich facility.

    Duties/Responsibilities:
    Identify potential sources for raw materials, parts, or finished goods that would fit into the company's supplier portfolio.
    Oversee competitive bid processes including RFP's, RFI's, and RFQ's
    Lead internal project teams through the vendor evaluation and selection process.

    Negotiate with new and existing suppliers on price, quality, and delivery terms regarding materials and goods for production and sale.

    Work with product management and engineering as a valued contributor on new product projects.

    Review and negotiate contracts with terms and conditions to comply with industry standards and manage the company's risks and obligations.

    Manage and develop team members.
    Research and anticipate market and economic shifts that may impact company costs and profitability. Estimate risk and develop risk mitigation plans.
    Collaborate with the purchasing department for on-going supplier relationship management.

    Job Experience/Skills:
    Proven work experience as a sourcing manager. (4+ years)
    Have managed sourcing or purchasing staff. (2+ years)
    Ability to negotiate, develop relationships, resolve conflicts with suppliers and build strong partnerships.
    Familiarity of various manufacturing processes.
    Prior experience with outdoor power equipment or battery-operated consumer products a plus.

    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or relative experience.
