    SENIOR CONSULTANT, DECARBONIZATION – NORTH AMERICA

    Lead the development of company's technical sustainability and decarbonization projects, provide customer-facing subject matter expertise for our clients, and support the company in becoming the world leader in sustainability solutions for the maritime industry.



    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Lead the growth of decarbonization service offering in the USA and Canada.
    Collaborate closely with global Sustainability and Engineering teams.
    Identify business opportunities and secure new clients in alignment with company's decarbonization strategy.
    Produce feasibility studies, concept designs, and conversion projects related to future technologies and alternative fuel solutions.
    Manage projects, resourcing, scheduling, and cost control.
    Author publications and thought leadership documents related to future sustainability opportunities.

    EXPERIENCE:
    B.Sc and/or M.Sc. in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or similar field or qualification including a marine institution and sea-going experience.
    A broad understanding of maritime decarbonization and environmental sustainability solutions.
    Knowledge of energy storage, fuel cells, carbon capture, alternative fuels, and other emerging technologies.
    Comprehension of regulatory requirements related to GHG emissions, such as EEXI, CII, SEEMP III and ESG Compliance.
    Experience in technical report writing and concise presentations.
    Familiarity working with regulatory bodies, such as Classification Societies, Flag State and USCG.
    Experience building client relationships, working closely with clients, equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
    Excellent computer skills (Office 365 Platform).

    The Cruise Segment Sales Representative will work directly with senior leadership to manage existing cruise accounts in Florida and to grow market share by selling the company's total product range to customers.

    The successful candidate will build stronger relationships and brand image with the ultimate goal of increasing overall sales.

    Position Responsibilities:


    Introduce, promote and sell the company's portfolio of products to both existing and new cruise ship operators in the State of Florida through a strong personal presence, relationship building, and the use of corporate tools and resources.

    Attend and represent the company at industry events including trade shows; networking events; vessel sponsorship events; and similar.

    Promote the company to key cruise industry personnel including senior leadership, technical superintendents, dry-dock managers, and purchasing through regular visits and follow up communication.

    Respond to inquiries and ensure company products are specified onto new projects, thus creating sales opportunity for the company.

    Follow-up on projects within concept markets by coordinating and monitoring closely with company inside sales, product experts, distributor representatives, etc.

    that products are properly presented and specified.
    Monitor collections to ensure customer payment is received within agreed term to achieve budgeted days outstanding.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related
    5+ years sales experience
    Excellent references from prior employers and cruise line customers
    Experience selling to the cruise industry
    Understanding of industrial distribution including product representation, delivery schedules, accounts receivables, etc.
    Ability to articulate and communicate the company's vision to build a large market share in the cruise industry
    Ability to travel approximately 40-50% to visit customer offices, vessel visits in ports such as Port Everglades, Tampa, Miami, Port Canaveral, and Jacksonville
    Occasional international travel to visit with European manufacturers for training and sales integration meetings
    Integration with multiple branches around the company to expedite customer orders

    Successful candidates will be able to work legally in the United States without sponsorship; have a valid US Passport and Driver's License; and be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

    Water Taxi of Fort Lauderdale has been an icon in South Florida for over 30 years; serving the Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood area with year-round service, private charters, and special event transportation.

    Water Taxi is based in the Yachting Capitol of the World, Fort Lauderdale Florida, and boasts the largest passenger fleet in South Florida.

    We boast a fleet of 13 boats varying in size from 26' launch style boats to 64' high speed catamarans and a staff of over 100 employees.

    BASIC FUNCTION:


    The Director of Engineering is responsible for planning, and executing daily engineering projects, project planning, supervising activity of other mechanics, shipwrights, and boat cleaners' parts and contractor procurement, operation, upkeep and repair of all vessels and shore side facilities, to a state of readiness at all times.

    DUTIES AND

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Oversee and maintain systems including engine machinery spaces, deck, following preventive maintenance program on daily, weekly and monthly basis with the support of the Management
    Coordinate resources for flawless execution of projects on time and within budget
    Oversees the operation of the computerized vessel maintenance system
    Schedule Engineering staff for maximum efficiency
    Maintain up to date logs and maintenance program for all equipment and inventory.
    Oversee Interior / Exterior cleaning and upkeep of vessels to a top-quality standard.
    Diesel maintenance OEM (original equipment manufacturer)/ oil changes /injectors /fuel pumps/transmissions/ assist in engine change outs
    Maintain tools, filters, and replacement parts.
    Required to follow the company safety and pollution prevention policies and procedures
    Prepare the vessels for all USCG annual inspections and dry docks
    Participate in shore side training as required by the company
    Direct maintenance on-shore side facilities including docks, building, and grounds
    Familiar with all company policies, procedures, and Emergency Response Activities.
    Strong knowledge of diesel propulsion and electricity generation systems, and support systems such as fuel, air compressors, pumps, hydraulics, plumbing, refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning
    Perform other duties as assigned by Management
    Requirements
    Must have experience in Service Yard Management
    Strong organizational skills
    Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
    Have the ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines
    Must have a valid driver's license
    MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
    Possess or able to obtain a TWIC Card
    Professional demeanor may have some passenger contact and have the ability to present information and respond to questions
    Ability to be able to read, write and communicate in the English Language
    Must be able to work a flexible schedule
