    Titan America has an excellent opportunity for a Learning and Development Specialist at our corporate office in Deerfield Beach, FL. The selected candidate will report directly to the Learning and Development Manager in Norfolk, VA to support Titan Americas Learning and Talent Development activities in Florida and across the organization.

    The Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for oversight, implementation, and monitoring of programs and activities that enhance skills, knowledge, and development of Titan Florida employees across all levels of the organization throughout the employee lifecycle. This individual will be responsible for developing, coordinating, facilitating, and measuring the effectiveness of training across Florida. They will support the success of L&D initiatives, leadership development programs, and collaborate with Senior Leadership, stakeholders, and subject matter experts. This role will also facilitate career development assessments and coaching, as well as succession planning activities and onboarding.

    The goal is to promote a learning culture, empower employee potential, and enable efficiency and competitive advantage across all segments and levels of the organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement needs assessments for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
    • Design, develop, oversee and facilitate training programs for management and employees.
    • Provide instructional design for learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides and lesson plans.
    • Identify/incorporate best adult learning practices into lesson planning and programs.
    • Consult with stakeholders to determine training needs and schedule training sessions.
    • Coordinate and create assessment tools and provide debriefing of results.
    • Conduct in-person and virtual seminars, workshops, individual training sessions etc.
    • Consult with employees and their managers to suggest appropriate learning paths in support of career/professional development.
    • Support the Learning Management System (LMS) as well as build courses, assign them to learners and track results for in-person, e-learning and virtual classes.
    • Provide career coaching, 360 assessment debriefs and draft Individual Development Plans (IDP)
    • Collaborate with L&D team in support of organizational L&D initiatives.
    • Provide creative thought leadership in partnership with L&D Team and stakeholders.
    • Consult with stakeholders and program sponsors to provide L&D expertise in support of employee and business development.
    • Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Adult Learning, Educational Psychology, Curriculum Development, Organizational Development, Human Performance, or other relevant field.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience working in Learning and Development, Instructional Design, Adult Education, Training, Organizational Development, or equivalent discipline.
    • Up to 50% travel-primarily drivable within Florida

    Preferred:

    • CPTD/APTD or similar certification.
    • Masters Degree in relevant discipline
    • Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
    • Experience with ERP System Training

    Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Demonstrated understanding of Instructional Design, needs assessment, program design and development, facilitation, measurement, and maintenance.
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of adult learning theory and principles.
