    The Public Relations and Communications Manager creates and promotes the company's identity and mission to the public, customers, and employees. He/She develops strategies, collaborates, executes, and measure the performance of media relations campaigns with the goal of building and enhancing a favorable image of the company with employees, prospective candidates, clients, potential clients, influencers, and the public.

    Job Responsibilities
    • Brand Messaging: Ensuring that all public relations and communication efforts are aligned with the overall brand messaging and company values
    • Community Outreach: Leading community outreach initiatives to enhance the company's local presence and foster positive community relationships
    • Executive Communication: Supporting executive communication efforts, including drafting speeches, presentations, and other materials for senior leadership
    • Competitive Analysis: Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats and adjusting communication strategies accordingly
    • Collaboration with Marketing: Working closely with the marketing team to integrate public relations efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives
    • Crisis Management: Developing and implementing crisis communication strategies to manage and mitigate any potential negative publicity or public relations issues
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including industry associations, government bodies, and community organizations
    • Reputation Management: Developing a strategic communication plan to enhance the company's brand image and reputation; refining the company's corporate image and identity
    • Managing relationships with media contacts to help secure media coverage and maximize brand exposure
    • Developing internal communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all departments
    • Coordinating public relations objectives including assessing digital content
    • Event support at industry conferences and in the local community
    • Identifying audiences and determining the best way to reach them
    • Helping clients communicate effectively with the public
    • Devising advertising and promotion programs
    • Assigning, supervising, and reviewing the activities of staff

    Job Qualifications
    • Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing, or similar
    • 3+ years of experience as a Public Relations Manager, Communications Manager, or Information Officer
    • Must possess superior written and verbal communication skills
    • Must have a knowledge of consumer marketing, and the ability to make media pitches; social media savvy required
    • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
    • Must be a critical and creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
    • Must have strong time management, planning, and organization skills with a strong attention to detail
    • Must be comfortable with reporting and analytics

    Compensation: Salary + Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
