Job Description

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver in New Bern, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a caring culture built on integrity, teamwork, and innovation. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or deliveries, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs in accordance with site procedures.

Complete required reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate notable conditions to the oncoming officer and/or supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
