Job Description

As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in New Bern, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and report observations with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, supporting mobile patrol coverage across the site. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach while delivering reliable customer service.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and control entry for employees, contractors, and visitors by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing arrivals to designated check-in areas.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying on-site contacts and public responders as needed and completing required notifications.

Complete detailed patrol, incident, and activity reports, including documenting gate activity, deliveries and/or pickups, and observed hazards to equipment, property, or operations.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
