European Legal Counsel - Wyoming, MI, United States - Diamond Dynamics

Our company, with a presence in over 160 countries and nearly 90 years of experience in the European market, is seeking a Legal Counsel for our German subsidiary located in Wyoming, MI.
Our team is dedicated to providing our customers with high-quality products at the best value possible.As a dynamic, US-based multinational company, we are looking for a Legal Counsel to support our European market.
This position will report directly to the European Managing Director and indirectly to the General Counsel of our US-based parent company.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Company's data protection programs
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, and develop standard formats to protect the Company's interests
- Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters, including contracts, corporate structuring, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, litigation support, employment, data protection and privacy, licensing, advertising, social media, and ecommerce
- Review, draft, and advise on company policies
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies and procedures shared between HR and Legal
- Provide legal support to all business functions, including Management, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Human Resources, and IT
- Manage and collaborate with external counsel for all legal duties
Qualifications:
- Law degree, minimum first state examination, such as a business lawyer, graduate lawyer, or Master of Law
- 58 years of practical commercial legal experience
- Ability to advise on EUwide law and national laws of member states
