Team Leader (m/f/d) for the Department of Vertebrates in Aquatic Ecotoxicology - Permanent, Full-time (40 hours)

To strengthen our department of aquatic ecotoxicology, we are currently seeking a team leader (m/f/d) for the area of investigations on aquatic vertebrates.

ibacon GmbH is an independent contract research laboratory with the task of supporting the global chemical and pharmaceutical industry as a service provider. As a GLP-certified laboratory, our portfolio includes studies in the areas of aquatic and terrestrial ecotoxicology, characterization of physico-chemical parameters, residue analysis, and environmental fate. We are a steadily growing medium-sized company with 160 motivated employees.

The department of aquatic ecotoxicology consists of 6 teams, conducting studies on aquatic vertebrates, invertebrates, plants, and analytical dose verification. The department employs 45 staff members.

Your responsibilities:
  • Leading your own team (7-8 employees) in the area of investigations on aquatic vertebrates
  • Ensuring the economic success of your own area of responsibility
  • Ensuring the technically and scientifically correct conduct of GLP-compliant studies according to OECD guidelines in your own area of responsibility
  • Finding high-quality solutions for our international clients
  • Budget and project planning in your own area of responsibility
