Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Intake Coordinator.

As an Intake Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate intake processes for our patients.

This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


Duties:

• Conduct intake interviews with patients to gather necessary information
• Enter patient data into the electronic medical records system (Eaglesoft)
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
• Schedule appointments for patients, coordinating with medical and dental providers
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Assist with medical record management, including filing and organizing documents
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and other healthcare professionals
• Provide administrative support to the medical and dental office staff
• Collaborate with the ER team to ensure smooth patient transitions

Skills:

• Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar electronic medical records systems
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Experience with medical scheduling and appointment coordination
• Familiarity with dental office procedures is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fastpaced environment
• Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
