Beyond TalentEdge has a 4-6 month temporary position for a skilled Welder. Our client is located in Henrietta.

Tentative start date - May 20th

Hours will be Monday – Friday 6am – 2:30pm

Hourly Rate:
$30/hr

In this position you will perform a variety of functions in the welding area fabricating and assembling equipment using welders, cutters, and measuring tools.

The Welder produces metal products according to drawing specifications.

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Fabricate equipment utilizing cutting, burning equipment, MIG and TIG welding equipment, jigs and fixtures, and other related safety equipment
Fabricate using prints, work orders, and basic documentation relating to a specific component
Inspect work for conformance to both cosmetic and functional criteria using Bore scope and other visual enhancements tools
Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment
Occasional travel may be required on short notice
Complies with required use of Personal Protective Equipment

*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES*\_ *Experience*\_

2 years' minimum industrial experience required
ASME Section 9 Welding Certification required

High school diploma or equivalent

_*Competencies*_

Perform shop mathematics
Read and understanding engineering drawings and specifications
Interpret complex specs and understand the production of welding operations
Analyze and understand complex dimensional relationships and independently develop logical inspection procedures to ensure compliance
Strong communication and oral skills
Maintain a neat and organized welding area
Knowledge of Quality Management Standards such as ISO9001
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
