    Elementary PrincipalCanyon View ElementaryCATALINA FOOTHILLS SCHOOL DISTRICTAdministrative Job DescriptionELEMENTARY PRINCIPALExempt12 MonthsSalary: Based on Experience (BOE)

    Definition:

    The Principal will coordinate administrative oversight and plan all phases of instructional leadership for the school including educational programming, administration, budgetary planning, discipline at Canyon View Elementary School.

    Canyon View is located at 5725 N. Sabino Canyon Road, Tucson, Arizona 85750.


    Reports to:

    SuperintendentMinimum Required Qualifications:

    • Possess a master's degree in education, education administration, or closely related field.
    • Hold a valid Arizona Administrative Certificate and current license to teaching in the State of Arizona from the Arizona State Department of Education.
    • Five (5) years teaching experience.
    • Possesses a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience as an elementary principal.
    • Must have knowledge of school administration and education techniques and use communication skills to effectively maintain working relationships.
