_MEN__t_ summer bridge day program aims to provide an enriching and transformative educational experience for young men of color in the state of Pennsylvania, with a High School Grade Point of Average of This program invites participants to spend 4 weeks as a Lincoln University Student during the day, where they will engage in college-level courses, community service, and professional student development.

Upon successful completion of this program, the participants will receive full admissions into the University.

The program's primary goal is to empower these students, enhance their academic skills, foster personal growth, and encourage their longterm success in higher education and beyond.


Job Summary:


Essential Functions:


  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute events for the summer program, ensuring alignment with university's mission and vision.
  • Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, audiovisual requirements, and event materials.
  • Work closely with Empower
    MENt Advisory Committee and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
  • Collaborate with faculty to incorporate programspecific elements into events.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and entities to develop community services opportunities.
  • Develop promotional material for events, including brochures, flyers, and digital content.
  • Implement outreach strategies to attract prospective students and families for next year's cohort.
  • Oversee onsite event management, including registration, guest checkin, and coordination of event staff.
  • Ensure positive and engaging experience for attendees throughout.
  • Collect and analyze data on event effectiveness, attendance, and participant feedback.

Qualifications:


  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to innovate and implement engaging event concepts.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
