The Need

For 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence.

9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM's Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty.

As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence by 2030, we are seeking a Coordinator, Direct Response to support comprehensive efforts for multiple critical fundraising channels.

The Coordinator, Direct Response participates in the execution of direct response acquisition, cultivation, stewardship, and reactivation communications across the Integrated Fundraising team.


This role supports the Direct Response team in coordinating within this team and across the larger Integrated Fundraising team to ensure proper communication and delivery of budget.

They will play a pivotal role on a high-energy, innovative, and growing Direct Response team, working with other Integrated Fundraising staff to plan integrated multi-channel campaigns.


The Coordinator, Direct Response facilitates a cohesive donor experience of IJM's supporters, ensuring that all interactions with IJM supporters are of the highest quality and representative of IJM's brand.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate across Integrated Fundraising and the North America team to ensure mass marketing campaigns are delivered in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Monitor direct response communications for quality assurance (i.e., fact checking, stats gathering, etc.).
  • Support facilitating quarterly business reviews (QBRs), annual planning summits and metrics reviews.
  • Coordinate content and inventory to support donor journey communications.
  • Coordinate feedback loop between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate issues quickly and effectively and aid in creating solutions.
  • Build relationships, coordinate internal feedback on vendor deliverables, promote accountability, and track KPIs.
  • Contribute to the Direct Response team to improve the program by ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in IJM's community of spiritual formation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. 1 year experience with nonprofit fundraising.
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Strong daytoday project coordination and execution skills.
  • Resultsoriented.
  • A resilient spirit with a track record of learning from successes as well as challenges.
  • Experience handling several fastpaced, concurrent projects and assignments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working on direct response fundraising campaigns a plus.
