    Associate Distribution Engineer/Designer

    Associate Distribution Designer/Engineer

    needed for a direct opportunity with ExecuPOWER in King of Prussia, PA.
    The Big Picture – Top Skills You Should Possess:
    Prepare and revise design, construction and as-built drawings, sketches, tracings, or CAD/GIS, MicroStation, and PLS-CADD files under the direction of responsible engineer or others
    Domestic travel to client locations is required.

    What You'll Be Doing:
    Maintaining the quality and integrity of the data stored in ExecuPOWER's and client's electronic records management systems
    Perform field surveys and accurately identify field equipment for interpretation on design drawings.
    Interpret client standards and apply to design drawings and material reservations.
    Comply with quality control, safe work practices, and maintain compliance with project scope, schedule, and budget
    Differentiating color-coded drawings and plans

    What You Need to Bring to the Table:
    Associate degree or bachelor's in computer Aided Design, Applied Science, Engineering Technology, Electrical, Mechanical or related field OR the equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
    Ability and willingness to work extended hours (including holidays and weekends) with little or no notice and on-call during storms and system emergencies
    Ability and willingness to adhere to safety regulations and policies and to wear and use safety equipment as required by Federal, State, local regulations, and ExecuPOWER and client requirements
    Ability and willingness to work in a variety of work environments including outdoors in all weather conditions, on or around energized electrical equipment, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dirty environments
    Demonstrated ability and/or experience with GIS
    Knowledge of general drafting standards, practices, and procedures
    Experience demonstrating skill reading and interpreting engineering/construction plans and drawings.
    Experience demonstrating skill using PC-based drafting software (for example, MicroStation, Powerdraft, AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, or ESRI-GIS)
    Experience demonstrating skill performing mathematical computations involving basic math (addition, multiplication, subtraction, division, fractions), geometry, and algebra to perform drafting functions (for example, properly scale drawings, size cable, check clearances, and assemble bills of materials)
