About Us



We are looking for you for the Fire Department of the state capital Stuttgart. The position is to be filled indefinitely.

The Fire Department employs around 680 full-time and over 1,200 volunteer firefighters. They are available to citizens in all emergency situations to ensure 24/7 fire and disaster protection in Stuttgart. In the Strategic Management department, all tasks with direct strategic importance for control and development are centrally bundled and managed from here.

Responsibilities

  • You are the central contact person for data protection issues in the Fire Department and the Volunteer Fire Department Stuttgart, as well as the interface to the Data Protection and Information Security department of the state capital Stuttgart
  • You review and process all data protection-related tasks in accordance with the core processes of the GDPR and assess the necessity of data protection impact assessments for the processing of particularly sensitive health and social data
  • You create and maintain the processing directory for the jurisdiction of the Fire Department and the Volunteer Fire Department
  • You work on measures and projects with a focus on data protection and process and coordinate data protection-related matters in cooperation with the respective department
  • You prepare statements on data protection-related matters for the Fire Department and participate in the implementation of a data protection management system for the state capital Stuttgart
