Job DescriptionThis position is for a 12-hour rotating day shift (7:00am - 7:00pm) (Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday)Reads work order or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or componentsResponsible for laying up, feeding or piling down materials at equipmentJog product off counter stacker and stack neatly on skid to assure good running in bindery or mailing departmentSeparate signatures by hand based on customer specificationsCounts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheetComplete skid flags and packaging slips to ensure accurate trackingInstall strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand toolsAttaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containersStacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together, using banding machine and clincherMay occasionally operate automated equipment and/or industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and productsQualificationsAble to feed, stock, move, jog, arrange, unload and rotate items on/off bindery and/or finishing equipment in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a bindery operator or supervisorAble to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materialsBasic knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification codes, basic knowledge of warehouse procedures and familiarity with the storage areas in order to be able to place or pull paper stock, signatures and materials in accordance with standard proceduresBasic skill in the use of manual dollies, carts or hand trucks and hand tools used in material handling tasks such as hammers, pliers, strapping and stretch wrapping tools and equipment, tape fasteners, metal band sheers and related equipmentAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $16.00 to $22.26 per hour.

The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to:
education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location.

In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
