    Position Overview:


    As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Management teams of our all of properties, remotely from our Troy, MI office.

    Your primary focus will be to ensure resident requests are addressed and the property maintains stability when the Property Manager is unavailable.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    Tenant Relations:
    Screening applications, processing background checks as well as addressing concerns and providing exceptional customer service.

    Administrative Duties:

    Maintaining accurate records of transactions, handling files associated with leasing, maintenance, and compliance, providing updates on properties with the regionals.


    Compliance:
    Stay informed about affordable housing regulations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local housing laws.

    Qualifications:
    Previous experience in property management, preferably with a focus on affordable housing.
    Knowledge of affordable housing programs and regulations.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to handle tenant relations, conflict resolution, and customer service effectively.
    Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.


    Education:
    COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist), TCS (Tax Credit Specialist), Fair Housing, or equivalent industry-specific training/certifications preferred.
